FES GmbH Fahrzeug-Entwicklung Sachsen grows in a dynamic market environment and shapes the change of the mobility industry. Employing about 850 staff members now, FES GmbH is known as development partner in the complete vehicle development for national and international automobile manufacturers since 1992.
Simultaneously to the development services, FES has started to use processes, methods and installations to develop and manufacture own products. In doing so, FES GmbH is concentrating on products committed to the energy transition in the mobility sector, both in the battery and in the fuel cell vehicle sector.
The technological change and the growing environmental awareness direct the focus to hydrogen as an energy source. The FEScell is already operating in series production since 2021, being the world’s smallest fuel cell system destined for autonomously driving intralogistics vehicles, for example in the BMW plant Leipzig. Corresponding to the growing need for environment-friendly solutions for the transport of goods, FES now presents its latest project.
